Tralee Chamber Alliance Business Expo
The inaugural Tralee Chamber Alliance Business Expo was held at the Fels Point Hotel in Tralee, Co. Kerry on Tuesday 13th May. This event was organised by the Tralee Chamber Alliance in association with the Kerryman newspaper. The idea behind the expo was for members of the business community to come together and network with each other. There was also an opportunity for the businesses in Tralee and the wider area to showcase to the general public whats on offer in their locality. The media were also present to promote the broad range of local business talent.
The event was free for members of the public. Each stall had special offers and competitions as an incentive to attract the public and the prizes were certainly worth winning . They ranged from weekends away courtesy of the local hotels to meal deals, hampers and advertising space in some of Tralee local publications.
One of the highlights of the exhibition and one that kept the kids amused (and adults too) was the Kerry Model Railway stand. The Kerry Model Railway Association was formed in 2012 because of the love of railways and to help raise funds for The Tralee Dingle Steam Train restoration . They are based at the windmill in Blennerville. Another example of the great local attractions available in Tralee for locals and visitors.
