I can truly say that I cannot recommend Ciara enough.
We asked Ciara to do our wedding Photography for our micro wedding in July 2020. Ciara is a true professional, right from the start we made a plan of the day taking into consideration the Covid19 restrictions, Ciara was available throughout the planning stage by email. We wanted a relaxed , easy going day and we asked that Ciara capture those special, intimate moments of the day, and also some of our venue and some traditional shots after the ceremony. Ciara has a beautiful presence, she enhanced the flow of the day and made everyone feel very relaxed and natural. I was amazed by her skill, she created the most beautiful images of our wedding day, I will be forever grateful that she captured the essence of our wedding, we received a 'sneak peak' the day after, and it was so exciting to see the amazing images she had captured. We chose Ciara O’ Donnell as our photographer for our wedding at Ballyseede Castle Hotel, Kerry, Ireland in December 2019. We planned our wedding from China so this made the process more difficult however Ciara really put us at ease when we met her for our pre-wedding consultation. Ciara was easy to talk to and walked us through what would happen on the wedding day. Ciara was the first port of call when organising our wedding and was definitely a great place to start. On the day of the wedding, Ciara took beautiful candid shots of the bride and groom getting ready at two different houses. Ciara was totally unobtrusive which was exactly what we wanted on our special morning.  Ciara captured our church wedding perfectly taking pictures from all different angles and really capturing the atmosphere inside the church.

 In the evening, due to the bride being an hour late and the time of the year, Ciara was fighting against failing light to take the outdoor shots that we wanted. She even managed to cajole everyone into their group shots which was not an easy task! We had asked Ciara to stay to take evening pictures in the gardens and we couldn't be happier that we did, the sparklers and photos in the pavilion are some of our favourites of the day. We wanted to limit the amount of ‘posed for' pictures and tasked Ciara to take candid shots of everyone interacting at the wedding and the reception. She did a fabulous job of capturing moments from our incredible day and we would recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled wedding photographer. We have so many fabulous pictures that creating our album was an impossible task however again Ciara was more than patient and made wonderful artistic suggestions which resulted in a beautiful album which we will treasure forever. 

We met with Ciara prior to the wedding day which was great for discussing what we wanted. Ciara spent ages with us at my home and we also checked out the church and a few outdoor locations. We did a rough run-through of the day which was invaluable because on the actual day we knew exactly where to go and how much time we needed. Ciara was so calm and in control, even with the madness going on around her. She had a little kit with her pins, wet wipes and tissues for my dress which was brilliant. She was brilliant to deal with and we absolutely loved the photos - the biggest problem now is narrowing down the photograph choices for our wedding album!

Ciara did the photography for our wedding in October 2017 and we haven't stopped talking about her since. When we first met Ciara we left with a sense of excitement and calm. Excitement for our own day and the sense of ease you get from speaking to Ciara, we knew her just being around on our day what going to make such a difference. She promised to look after us and told us not to worry, that she would be there to take any stress away from us on the day that that was her job.  Ciara is so much more than a photographer to a couple on their day, she is a friend, a calming voice, an event planner ( a true Franc), she runs the show with such ease,  giving us more time to enjoy the moments. Her photographs are a just a bonus. Her sneak peak album gives you a feel for what's to come. She captures the most amazing and precious moments with a sense of pride, joy and a love for what she does. We can't express in words just exactly what she did for us on our wedding day, just having her there would have been more than enough. She is a true lady, a fantastic photographer and a genuine asset to any couple on the special day.

Ciara was absolutely wonderful! She was more than just our photographer. She went above and beyond for my husband and I. Being from the States, she made it easy to get in contact with her, and offered to meet us when we landed in Ireland. She came to our hotel the day before our wedding just to answer all our questions, offer any help and welcome us to the country. Besides all that, her work is just incredible. She was able to get samples (a sneak peek) the evening of our wedding day. Our photos turned out amazing! Ciara stayed longer just to ensure we got any and all photos. Overall, we had an amazing experience and we would recommend her 100% if you want an extremely talented and personable photographer.

We couldn’t have been more delighted with the amazing photos Ciara took of our wedding day! Given that she was working with two people (the groom in particular!) who are a little uncomfortable with the idea of posing for photos, Ciara managed to make us feel completely at ease from start to finish with results that we were so pleasantly surprised with. She really managed to capture the fun and emotion of the day so perfectly, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Ciara was so much fun to work with on the day while at the same time keeping everything moving so smoothly. We never felt as though we lost time away from our guests for the sake of the photographs, which was important to us. Ciara understood this completely and yet still took oceans of beautiful photos! The research and thought she put into the day in the lead up to it was another pleasant surprise. We will treasure the photos and can’t recommend Ciara highly enough.

Firstly we can’t thank you enough for how personal you made our day feel. Living abroad meant putting our faith into others hands even more. When you suggested a Skype chat, we were delighted and it was a reflection of your personal touch and care. Your flexibility suited us down to the ground and your openness to our ideas as regards location meant a lot. On the day, we didn’t even know you were there, you blended in and made us feel very relaxed. Your easy going approach was exactly what we hoped for and lots of people commented positively on that. The final selection of photos was beautiful! They were natural, captured the atmosphere as it was, colourful and really “us”. Family and friends loved the pics as much as we do.

When we went about selecting a photographer, the first thing that stood out about Ciara was how approachable and friendly she was. We both found that being in her presence we felt very much at ease and so when she did our engagement photos we saw how professional and effortless the photos came out. On our wedding day Ciara made us feel so comfortable and so relaxed we sometimes forgot she was there but little did we realize she was capturing some of the most natural photos of our day.
